- You have a COMESA yellow card before driving into a neighbouring country.
- You verified the yellow card by USSD before leaving.
- You know whether medical cover for the driver and passengers is included.
- Visiting Zanzibar: you hold the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation inbound policy.
- You keep the original card and the police report after any accident abroad.
- You know which national bureau to call in the country you visit.
